Just wanted to say Hi to all the fitfreaks out there. I purchased a used 2008 Nighthawk Pearl Black manual Sport with 11k on it. I do have a question and I can't seem to find the correct answer. I think I know what it is, but want to check. Is my 2008 considered a 1st or 2nd gen model? The vin shows it to be a GD3, which I would think makes it a 1st gen. The forums show the '08 as a 1st (GD) and 2nd gen (GE), so that is where my confusion comes from. Also, some sites that I have looked at for parts words it the same way. Thanks!

 

your 08 is the first gen. GD=1st, GE=2nd. welcome to FF!
