Well my 09 fit is gonna be here 10/24 and i cant wait but i was wondering if we will ever see a Fit SI !!!! It would be Neat to see !

Wondering the same thing - a K20 in a Fit with retuned suspension would be great.

 

Only when base model civics are 25k.

 

Fit SI maybe, but if it does come out i dont think it will have a k20 in it and im hoping not, maybe a DOHC L15A3 making about 160 hp like the old 99-00 si with better suspension and all the bells and whistle you know... but then again we can always dream.
P.S: even though Honda Motto is " Power of Dreams" ( correct me if im wrong)

They probably won't, at least not for the USDM.

And the HASport K20 swap has been around for quite some time now. Nothing new there. One guy even added a Comptech S/C to his K20-swapped Fit!

 

Who knows..
Doubt it highly though..it just wouldnt fit in there lineup.

The Fit's too awkward to have a lot of HP. Its tall, short length and narrow. I think I remember reading even Mugen said the Fit is unstable w/ over 150 HP somewhere.

 

FIT SI i doubt it but i know they're talking about the hybrid FIT next year or the year after

 

egh, like a small light-weight v-tec fuel economic car isnt good enough -.- i hate hybrids, i love gas, wtf. im not touchin hybrids, its fancy but its too sissy as for fit si, its not even at the auto-show, so its not happening within maybe 2 years, and by then, fit might have some REAL competition..

 

One would certainly be nice. I also wouldn't mind seeing a five-door Civic Si, like they sell in Europe.
