BTW i never understood the purpose of those bulbs.
for the longest time nobody could see there bulbs
then they would go get clear covers so they looked good.
now clear covers isn't enough. we need clear bulbs.

do they still blink in orange?
yea they still blink orange, but I assume if you wanted white you could buy the same app, and paint them like I did, that way they dont reflect that odd blue...I just wanted to stay legal, I am gonna replace the uper marker bulbs with LED whites to match my new HID's going in this weekend...hehe

the car was a 3 inch gap went to a 1.5 inch gap, 4 to 2 fingers, the front being a tighter fit 2 fingers...

Springs will work... but the shocks will not.... with those spring rates.... you are about x1.5 the normal spring rate in the front and about x3.5 in the rear..

But my hats of to you for willing to be a test mule..

the stock fit has the following spring rates( 09 GE )

1.8kgm F
1.6kgm R

Now those NF210`s for the ( GD 07~08 )

2.6kgm F
4.7kgm R

Here is a pic of the stock GD1 shocks and springs on a GEB chassis.. ( just look at the height of the rear and you`ll see )

thes would be great springs if you plan on drag racing your fit.... but I don`t think that your rear shocks will last to long with the springs that stiff...

Hmmmm I don't want to be the guy that spreads misinfo, so I will check the box again, but my drop is not that low, so far the ride is actually pretty nice, I will keep everyone posted if I have to pull my shocks then I will definately say so...its all part of the fun haha. Fear is the enemy of inovation!!!!!

Dave,

OT: If i want to achieve this kind of drop in the front, i will have to install a GD1 shocks and NF210 combo on my GE8?

Stormtrooper,

What a risk.. it's good that the NF210 for GD worked on your GE8

Yes I belive so..... the shock body is shorter up from so the car basically sits lower... with a ton of wheel travel....

Hey all after speaking with Mike my buddy and getting the Tanabe box, I had forgotten it at his shop...turns out I installed the GF-210...which as I had thought was the 20-30% increase in stiffness...where as the NF210 is the 5%, hence the difference in the drop between my actually car and Dave's posting. I DID NOT install shocks and stayed with the OE.

check out the front gap, as its not nearly as low...I would have fainted if it was that low hahaha, the gap is a sloid 2 finger, or about a 1.5 inch gap, the Fit still turns, and kinda looks sharp, IMHO...hope this helps anyone...I would suggest waiting a few weeks to see how the shocks handle the stiffer springs...Dont worry it wont be a long wait, I log about 120 miles a day.
