I had a rattle develop after 500 miles at the dashboard seam underneath the steering wheel. Took it to the dealer and had them fix it while they were replacing a DOA TPMS sensor.

They said the metal clips holding it together just needed adjusting, but it took them a while to figure it out because they'd never seen one before

My lower glove box started rattling on it's first two hour highway trip .
This was at roughly 500 klm's .
No worries , I'll have them look after it at the first service .

My left side dash (somewhere near the instrument cluster or below the left side vent) rattles when it's cold, but goes away after driving for 10 or 15 minutes. Can't figure out what's causing it.

I have a lower glove box rattler. I was wondering what techniques have been used to cure this. Leaving the glove box open is an unacceptable cure.

Something near the driver's side B pillar. By my (drivers) left ear. Tiny, barely noticeable.

I hear two rattles and at first they drove me insane. Then, I realized they were just my stupidity.

First, water bottles rattle when they are in the door holders.

Second, just the slightest swing to my keys causes them to hit the steering column and make a rhymic noise.

Other than that, I've found surprises in my cargo area thanks to my husbands nack of leaving stuff in there.

My favorite (this is from my last few cars too) is when you leave a water bottle in the car (half drunk) on a cold day and then turn on the heater. In my old car, I thought I kept getting hit by rocks. To be fair, I did get hit by rocks a lot in my Integra. But, about half of the worry was spare water bottles tucked here and there.

I don't have any rattles, but every time I come to a stop at a light or a stop sign, I hear what sounds like liquid sloshing around somewhere in the car. It's not always in the same place either; sometimes I hear it in the back and sometimes I hear it in the front. Anyone else have that?

Interesting. Never heard it in any other car but then again I never really tried paying attention to every little noise it makes. As long as I'm not the only one that hears it

I usually only hear it when I am pulling into the garage. Keep your gas tank topped off at all times and I bet you won't notice it.

I also had a lower glovebox rattle in my new (730 mile) Fit. I solved it by putting in a thin layer of foam in the bottom. It seems that anything sitting in that box will rattle against the plastic, and the sound becomes greatly magnified.

My passenger vent cup holder is the cause of my remaining annoying buzz/rattle. I've been working on it for a month or more, but it's not completely gone. If I can figure out how to remove that cup holder or the surrounding dash that would be great. But since I don't know, I'm planning to give it to the dealer and have them take a shot at it.

My lower glove box rattles but only on really cold days...My gas tank sounds like the ocean when it's under a 1/4 tank...Kind of relaxing actually

Handle (Bar) used to adjust front seats forward and backward. They rattle (buzz) on seat track when seat is positioned to the rear. Saw paint wear from vibration yesterday. Wrapped small amount of foam rubber and tape to bar. Problem solved. I assumed noise was near glove boxes till I found paint wear.
