Ummm you are right sir, mostly automatic navi, but looks like 3 nav mans within 150 miles of kenosha here in the midwest. I'm too stuck on my Garmin 2730 with xm trafic alerts and rerouting I guess and didnt fully notice the shortage of navi manuals.

Yeah... all Fits sell like hotcakes out here, even now. From what I can tell, they have increased production of MT Nav, since a bunch of dealers are getting them after nothing for months. So... it should be getting better if you want one. I think they underestimated the market of people "downsizing" from more luxurious rides. I was out of the country when mine came in and I had to beg the dealer to hold onto it (despite a long-held deposit). Indeed, they had a waiting list of 4 other buyers within two weeks of its arrival in case I didn't close the deal. I'm glad it worked out as there were only two colors I would have bought, making my options even slimmer.

Boy... I do not miss the Eisenhower (many years reverse commuting out of Chicago to Batavia) one bit... especially on a night like this!

Yeah they really underestimated the demand for manuals, and they may think if yer to cheap to get a auto shifter, you certainly wont spring for Navi.........wrong! stick shift is fun! And the memory of 4 dollar gas has created a whole new expanded desire for upscale small cars. duh! Europe has been on to this for years.

Ahhhhh California, in Chicago we have 2 seasons
winter and road construction LOL
added some rep power for you doc

Thumbs up

Yeah that's the problem MT w/Navi.... I could of had the Auto w/ Navi the same day OTD!!! and in the color I wanted.

That's another thing, MT w/ Navi, and I wasn't too flexible on the color.

They definitely underestimated the MT demand, but I don't know why??? When they released the 07 Fit, it was the same thing, no one could find me a MT in the color I wanted, they barely even found any MT's cause they were sold so quick off the lot. When I test drove the 07, my sales person told me as soon as the car came in, "you better get down here quick if you want to test drive it, cause someone's gonna buy it". Sure enough after I was done with the test drive they sold it the person who test drove it right before me.
Honda should have really known that they underestimated the MT demand in the US.

Well, December is here, so hopefully time will fly till I get it.

Tork you've been +repped also.

My local dealership has a CBP 5spd Navi model... I had to wait for my NBP Si w/navi and I paid out the nose for it too... my local dealership couldn't get it for me but now, of course, they have one sitting on the lot that they can't get rid of...

this is all discouraging news. I'm looking to sell my Mazdaspeed6 in the next few months and order an MT Navi in white. It sounds like i'll be borrowing cars for longer than i planned!

We ordered our Sport MT Navi the first part of October. I tracked down dealer inventory all over from the mid-West all the way into the Carolinas. Quite a few of the larger dealers posted inventory that appeared to be just what we wanted, but without exception they were phantom Fits (Phits?). One salesman in the Chicago area told me he was looking at it right outside his window and I could take delivery the next day if I wanted. I asked him to double-check. Turned out to be an automatic. The search was interesting and I got to talk to a lot of people before biting the bullet and getting in line for that November 28 build date.

Get this...last weekend at the dealer they had EIGHT Fit Sports, 1 of each color!! All autos. All next to each other, so it was nice to see. All colors look good on this car.
