Fit production schedule - questions...

I have a Fit that had a production date of 11/13. I'm now told the car is still in production. Can anybody shed some light on how the production schedule works or what the delay may be? When the production date is 11/13 does that mean that the car is to be built on 11/13 or is 11/13 simply the day the order hits the production schedule? Any experiences out there? Thanks!

i think that is the day the car is finally assembled. the delay would be the importing the car.

Its the day when your car or a batch of the Fit is being built.

Takes about two weeks to get shipped over from what my dealer told me.

OK, that means there must be a delay at the factory since the car is yet to be built. It's hard to get any solid info from the dealer. It's too bad Honda doesn't have a tracking system so customers can play an active role in seeing where their car is.
