i might have found the problem, i connected the positive and negative grounding wires to a bolt on the chassis where the negative post on the battery leads to.

yeah, positive needs to go to your battery...

My HIDs come on as my DRLs when I turn the car on and I have the indication light on inside and when I turn the headlights on the hids stay on and the drl idication light goes off will pulling the drl fuse eliminate this?

You definitely want to deactivate your DRL. The lower-than-normal voltage will damage the ballasts and bulbs over time.

Pulling the fuse did the trick.. thanks for the info tho
