I just noticed a dent! :(
Before somebody accuse me that its my fault, I park far away from other cars and I choose my parking carefully. I also don't leave my car unattended that long.
Okay, I just noticed a noticeable dent on my (front) right front quarter panel that looks like it was caused by somebody leaning on it. *I usually just check all door panels and front/rear bumper, but hardly the front quarter panel* You can't really tell unless you kneel down and if there's good lighting. I'm pretty sure this dent happened while it was still on the dealer. I bought my FIT on the Dec 19th, but I just notice it tonight while I was looking for water spot after washing my car.
I plan to go back to the dealership tomorrow and bitch @ the manager to fix it at their expense. I don't mind paying to get it fixed since its pretty minor and should cost less than $100, but I would rather put that money for accessories, parts or tint.
What do you guys think of my chances of getting it fixed by my local dealer?
*I circled where the dent is located, but its not noticeable from that angle and lighting*

This is all you, you have no idea if it happened at the dealership or not. If you took possession of the car and drove off the lot, it becomes your problem. Of course things that are under warranty don't apply, but how can you know that the dent didn't happen while you had it. Because of that you have to eat the cost of it. Why would you bitch at the manager? He didn't cause the dent, you didn't see the dent before you drove off the lot.
It's called taking responsibility, regardless of it happening before or after you bought the car. You drove off the lot without seeing it, it's your responsibility.

Mainly, I'm saying that you can ask them nicely if they will repair it, maybe make a case why you think it happened while the car was in their possession but bitching someone out is a bit too much for this kind of situation.
I wont really bitch at them, like shout and scream like a girl. I'll just complain nicely and maybe threaten to low rank them on their survey. :3
On the other hand, sometimes trying to fix a mostly invisible dent can make a BIG mess.
It could have been a basketball or other sports ball that bumped into it.
I'd just ask what it would cost to fix it with their body shop. Tell them you have no idea if it was there before or after taking it off the lot, which IS true. And if it will just pop-out then it might not cost much at all.

I'll update you guys tomorrow!

Hey why not? The finance guy tried screwing me, but I caught him. I'm returning the favor with a low survey.
You may be a candidate for paintless dent removal. Basically, you need to get to the inside part of the panel and push out. There are specialists who do this for a very nominal charge - even more nominal if the dealer agrees the dent is their fault.
Good news!
I just got back from the dealer and I have an appointment with the PDR specialist that always comes in every Friday. I was surprised that I didn't really have to bitch at them and no need to threaten them either.
Sorry it happened
I had 2 dents removed via paintless dent removal on my previous Fit.
You couldn't even see where they were after the guy was done. Each dent runs from $50 to $125. Once I found out about that, I was very encouraged.
You can protect your Fit well, but there are always a$$holes out there driving big fat SUVS who don't give a damn and always swing they frickin' cast-iron doors open all the way when they get in and out of their vehicle.

Save major complaining for serious matters and threats for when you plan on following through with a resolution for a serious matter. Like if your doors fall off or your engine falls out.

You mention that the PDR specialist comes in every Friday. That's because this HAPPENS! Dents happen. Whether on the dealer lot or in a parking lot, the cars are close to each other and people DO bump into things accidentally.
There are lots of videos on YouTube showing example of the Paintless Dent Removal, I did a quick search and here are a few:
YouTube - 770-630-1864 Paintless Dent Repair Demo
YouTube - Extreme Dents - Paintless Dent Repair / Removal PDR Training DVD Video
YouTube - Electromagnetic Dent Remover
Careful on this one, turn your volume DOWN:
YouTube - Removing a Dent with the MAX PULLER MP508
There are many other videos and techniques to give you an idea of what is done. And to give everyone a chance to see it in action. Just in case. Because we know that people DO bump into things, including our cars.
I recently had two in-dings on that same feature line, but mine were on the passenger door, not the fender. The dealer caused the damage.
The Dentwizard tech who worked on the car commented that the sheet metal on the Fit was possibly the thinnest he'd ever worked on. I've known the guy for some time, and skillwise he's a master tech, so I believe him.
When I was working at the Pontiac Solstice/Saturn Sky plant in Newark, DE, they too were using the flimsy stuff, but it did seem to take on more temper once it went through the paint ovens.
Even though the factory bodyside moldings do take away from the clean look of the car, they're very sturdy and once installed, they take a lot of the unwanted flex out of the door skins. Of course, they do nothing for the fenders and quarters.
