Bumper Mounted Foglights?

What does everyone think of bumper mounted foglights? Like the ones on a Mini?

Good idea or bad?

personally i like them just the way they are haha, but that's just my take on it. i think they look awesome already, but it'd be cool to see some variety, i got to admit

The base model I ended up with didn't have any installed so I'm looking at options.

Def wouldn't look good on a Fit.
I wouldn't recommend them

I think they would look great in the lower grill area.
Above, not so much, that would look fugly IMHO

I think if you found some little fog lights like these they could be installed under the bumper in the grill area and blend in quite nicely.

I have a set of these on a Kawasaki Concours and they pump out a very nice flat fog light.

I've got plans to put some Hella FF50 driving lights in the open area under the bumper. Flat black covers and you'd hardly notice them in there when not in use.

They could be these from Hella as well...

My Hella Lights - Universal Daytime Running Light Kit

The Hella ones are newly released and don't appear to be widely available yet.

There is a picture around here somewhere of a Fit with big rally-style lights mounted low. It doesn't look too bad.

I looked at putting larger rally-style lights higher up, about where the upper pair are mounted on the STi pic above. I decided it would mess with the aerodynamics too much. I wound up putting 90mm high beam modules in the lower grille opening.

A great place to shop for lights is Susquehanna MotorSports -- www.rallylights.com Purveyors of High Performance Vehicluar Lighting. If you buy from them be sure to mention me.
