automatic gear shifter

I want to replace my automatic gear handle with the new blue threaded one. I can not find any installation instructions online. Has anyone done this yet.

In lieu of instructions for the 2009 (couldn't find them on College Hills or anywhere else), here are the instructions for the 2008 auto shift knob:

Just get one of these made at your local leather shop for a fraction of the price. Mine cost about $35. In whatever color stitching you like.

For removal, just snap off the plastic on the front and undo the screw. Sorry, I don't have a pic.

Thanks for the responses. I don't see any outside screws. I guess the center console has to be removed to change knobs.

I watched the guys in the leather shop do mine. They just pulled off the plastic No 7 and took out the screw No 18. Be careful taking off the plastic cover, mine was tight.

Its true, I'm trying to do this mod myself too but there is no screw like the GD. The GE is all plastic and no screw on the base of the shifter??

I get the impression that the screw is inside the handle. It looks like you have to pry the two pieces apart then remove the screw holding the back part to the shaft. Who is going first?

people have already done it. just pry off piece number 7 starting from the bottom and it will just pop off. then you have full access to the screw that holds the back piece on.

Well, I got my new knob today and was installed in a few minutes. You only get the back half so you have to reuse the original front piece. Bought on line to save a few bucks. Thanks to all who replied.
