Full bumper replacement. Would you prefer the sport fog lights integrated into the bumper? Or no fog light at all? I am leaning towards no fogl light, because I do not want the designer trying to create something around a foglight.
Also, we are going to delete the tow hook access. I don't know if I have EVER seen anyone use this. Probably used more in Europe?
Thanks for the input.

There are people that do not have the sport version. We would be forcing them to buy foglights from the dealer.... There is positives and negatives when integrating fog lights.
From my experience anyway.
I'm not sure. That's why i am here!
I have just had bad experiences in the past when including fog light integration.
I much rather have a very nice looking bumper and a carbon fiber splitter. I am afraid fog lights might make non sport owners shy away from the kit as well.
Nothing is set in stone, that's why I posted this. To hear your opinions.

well there's 2 possible ways of looking at it:
1) Sport owners will make up the main market segment since they it seems they have more money to put towards and into their cars.
2) Base owners will make up the main market segment since they have simple cars and would like something to dress it up with.
But in any case it would be best to not integrate the fogs because you could potentially cut out 1/2 the market right? Besides I'm sure a smart Sport owner might find a way to integrate them with some shaving and cutting...or just sell them to the base owners!

What we might do is have a hard line on the underside of the bumper, foe those to cut and install their existing fog light if they choose to do that. However, that still means we would have to design AROUND the light once again.
Not sure if I want to do this. I don't want the style of the bumper to suffer because of the damn light. hehe.

That's a tough decision, and probably the reason I am not trying to make a living doing your job.
If you really want a super-clean look, forget the lights, but then you might be alienating a portion of your potential market. You are going to need some openings in the lower portion for airflow, right? Why not design some ducting for brake-cooling in the lower corners that could also be a place for installing the lights, should one be so inclined?

no fogs please...but have the design be able to withstand the adding of fog lights. The designer should be able to take it into account during the design phase so that it is not awkward looking if they are added by the user.

I would like to retain the use of my existing foglights. Even if you guys decide not to use the factory foglights, you should still include some sort of foglights in the bumper, bigger, smaller, round, whatever, as long as there are foggies.

Personnaly I wouldn't even consider it if it didn't have either one, the fog lights or ability to intigrate them, since it gets real foggy here at times. And the hook access since I have been known to go places that a FIT would end up getting stuck. Plus if I have to be towed I want it on a rolloff as opposed to 2 wheels lifted off the ground and the other bumper getting damaged during the tow.
