Lightbulb Fog light suggestions for Aftermarket Bumper

I was in a small front end accident a few years ago and when the autobody shop replaced my bumper they used this cheap aftermarket part: K-Metal® - Front Bumper Cover. I only realized this recently after wondering why my bumper never matches anyone else's. I am disappointed because I was about to install the OEM fog lights onto my car, and now I'm unsure if they will fit or not.

Do you know if the OEM fog light kit will work on this bumper? If not any recommendations on aftermarket fog lights? I'm hoping to get amber colored LEDs.

That looks like the base Fit front bumper. The OEM fog lights will fit, but you will need to do a bit of cutting.

Black3sr - what kind of add-on lights are you running next to the license plate? Did you wire them to your fog lights?

Some cheap Chinese ones. They are off now that one burnt out. I had them hard wired so that on all the time. I used an add-a-fuse in fuse box and ran the hot wire through/along top of fender then down into grill. If you use a coat hanger you can snake that wire along the fender.

OP I doubt if you can cut up your cover to fit the fogs.

That's what I thought when I saw your image, but knowing that my bumper at least matches the OEM look, I feel like it is worth a shot. I thought all the base Fits looked like yours, but missing thew black cover piece and the fog lights.

Thank you everyone.

Sorry, for some reason in my original post I had pasted it twice in succession. When I went back to edit the hyperlink, it still comes up as a broken link. But if you select-copy-paste it shows up.

In this circumstance I'd try to find a way to trim the back of this here slat to fit the faces of said fog lights. It'd hold em in place, give an aesthetic that looks more finished, and make it easier to secure them by whatever means you're able.

just an idea. Heres an example of a stock setup

Edit: id bitch at the insurance company
