did I install my shift knob wrong?
did I install my shift knob wrong?
I found an aftermarket one I liked it's the kind that come with the extra washer so you can adjust the knob so the grid is right. I got it on there and the grid is right but you can still see the washer. Do I need to take the boot off? Is there another option?
Thanks,
MJ

When you say washer, you mean nut right? If so I have the OEM Aluminum shift knob off the rsx and YES you can see the washer at the bottom. The best way to hide it would be to get a new shift boot that sits higher. You probably wont find one that'll clip to the bottom of the shifter since the aftermarket ones aren't really built like that.
