Has anyone taken the center consol apart yet? Seems like the 2 cup holder and the storage behind them is a separate piece of plastic. I wonder if anyone/company would make custom replacement piece for things like suction arm for GPSs or gauge pod surrounds.

 

You are correct, in the JDM version that area is not a cup holder, it has a small divider and storage bin.

 

I noticed that the other day when I installed a Mugen short shifter. I'm thinking it might be a good spot to put a center channel speaker when I do my stereo system. Would be interested in seeing what the other regions have there.
