How long was it before you got.....

.........your first rock chip/ scratch?

Talk about bad luck but I got mine 2 days after having mine.
Something must have flew up while driving and I have 2 fine scratches on my hood.

I already polished it with my dual action polisher but its still there (into the paint).
sucks!

i have a nice fairly large one on my hood....it came sometime in the past few months in the harsh winter driving. I only found out about it a few weeks ago when it finally warmed up enough so that i could wash my car!~ need to go buy some touch up paint soon...

My first 2 chips came at the same time a couple weeks after purchase. So sad... At least there aren't any dents yet (knock on wood).

Driving home from the dealer. It's only a car. Can't see it from the driver seat and now it's under all the dirt and salt anyway. I'm the only one who knows, and no one else cares.

My g/f chipped the door the first month, I scraped the bottom of the lip 2 days later, and last week a crow dropped a walnut on my roof and tried to eat it while up there (the nut didn't dent the roof, but I have scratches on the clear and on the black strip from where the crow scrambled on the 2-day prior waxed roof)

I don't mind winning this one. Better me than somebody who would really be bothered. I just like to travel, and this car is everything I hoped for in a modern, efficient car. Going to drive 400 miles tomorrow. Probably will pick up some more rock chips along the way. Hope not. The salt is everywhere, too.

Cheers

Chipped mine first day of ownership loading my mountain bike. I have damaged all my previous cars on the first day as well, I have learned to accept this quirk....battle scars give it character.
