I heard this was being rectified in future vehicles. Dunno when exactly. But this has been Honda's achilles heel since, forever.

I JUST came home from them doing a two step process of scratch filler and a thick coat of wax! Gosh it's gorgeous.

Rebecca, didn't you just get your car? How did it get swirled so quickly? I've had mine since Nov. and never had swirl marks! I know so many others have complained about this, but I've never had them. I finally put wax on it a couple weeks ago and it looks great. I hope yours stays nice now!

So....all the people complaining about swirls are the swirl-makers? Then why are they complaining? And why for god's sake are they doing that?

If you use old and dirty materials to clean your car it will scratch it.

Who at American Honda decided we don't need the good Fit - the one with rear discs and 7 speed cvt? That person would never have been in charge when I was intimate with Honda and doesn't need to be in charge now. Honda ALWAYS presented themselves as the premier entry level sedans and wagons. Now they are the hind end of entry level marketing.
