Orange Revolution is a comment-drawing color

Just got our Orange Revolution Sport w/NAV and AT a couple of days ago. We really are pleased with our color choice, now having seen it in various lighting situations, and at home in our garage and driveway. We live in a gated community, and the first stranger to see the car (gate guard) immediately chirped: "nice color."

It is distinctive, and of course limited to Sport models only. I wonder if many Base model buyers would have chosen it if available. For now, we will enjoy the slight exclusivity without being snobby about it. Hmmmm, I suppose we could replace the now-extinct GD3 vs. GD8 warfare (my model is better than your model) with a color warfare (my Orange Revolution is sexier than your Taffeta White).

I was originally going to go with OR with my 07, but the wait was too long so I went with NHB. When I traded that in for my 09, I went the complete opposite direction with TW and am VERY happy with it.

I have since seen 09s in OR and MR and I must say that they are both very stunning colors! Still, I love the contrast between my TW and my tinted windows. I want to get the headlights and tails smoked now.

Glad you enjoy your colour, It would be my 2nd choice but white >

Plus the white will keep it matching the s2

My girlfriend and I saw one yesterday. She commented that it's only for people who love being different and really want to stand out. I agree. Even if it isn't your intention to stand out by buying that color, you're gonna stick out like a sore thumb.

I told my dealer that I'd take a Fit Sport in any color besides Orange, lol. It's not for everybody. Only some can pull it off.

Is this a brighter version of Blaze Orange? I can't tell from the web site.

I would totally buy a car if it had "race orange", such a beautiful color! My first BMW had a race orange paint, very classic and sporty colour.

I think Lotus has the nicest orange color. Both the Elise and the V8 Esprit had a killer orange paint.

My choices for color got narrowed down to Taffeta White and Orange Revolution. In the end I just saw too many nice TW GE's on the boards and that made the decision easier.

I will say though that TW is a pain in the ass to keep clean. Dirt looks like it's magnified times five on my car. The only positive from this is it makes me more diligent to keep my Fit clean.

I've had people comment. Pretty positive.
I've had people tell me "that car suits you". Referring to it's character and the color I've chosen.
I have a thing for yellow cars. I've seen a couple of other-market Fits/Jazzes in Yellow and if they sent that color to the states I might have gone for that too.
When I was first considering the Fit, I told my wife I'd probably get Orange 'cause it's different. When that's the only Sport the dealer had in stock, the choice was obvious.

I recently went to an Audi dealer with a friend who was car shopping, and fell in love with a TT on the showroom floor... which happened to be orange. They call it Solar Orange. Hotness with 4 wheels.

What BMW did you have with orange paint?

love my orange!!!!!!!!! yes i am the type who likes unique color (my first choice would be a lavender color but they don't sell it here). the bright color acts like a warning on the road (to keep cell phone calling drivers from smashing me) and help me locate it in a big parking lot. since i never drive fast, i never have to worry about getting police notice.

the orange looks nice. My roommate/friend has a BOM 07, and it's nice, but I saw a OR 09 at Trader Joe's, and it's definitely a really nice color. I think the new orange is more of a pumpkin spice, where as the old one was like a flaming penny...

I like them both, but the new one is pretty sexy.

After driving a Ginster Yellow MK3 GTI for the past few years I wanted to get something a little less attention getting. So I went with BSP. OR is definitely a unique shade of orange.

The Orange Revolution has seriously grown on me. I have a Storm Silver and LOVE the color. I was seriously wanting a Blue Sensation. Saw one yesterday and it looked great! Gotta tell you though I'm really liking the Orange Revolution a lot. Like others have said, It makes a statement.

Best,

Dave
