Dashboard/Cluster Removal

So has anyone removed their cluster or dashboard from their GE8 yet? I was putting some small pics on my cluster and one fell in -_-

I have a GD3, and I haven't taken the cluster apart, but I was under the dash recently to get to the fuse box and it looked like I could see the bottom of where the cluster was mounted from under there. I bet if you dropped a photo it's now sitting on top of the little plastic piece under the dash???? If so it should be easily retrievable. Hope this helps.

If secondspassed's option doesn't work, this will surely get you from point A to point B. Or, it should anyway. If not, maybe it will come in handy for another time.

Try this:

TK69A00J26220234701KDAV10

BTW, notice the tape on the screwdriver, before prying!

Good luck!

UPDATE:
I just noticed this was an older post. Like I said above... maybe it will come in handy later.

That's the best set of instructions I have ever seen! Sure beats reading a 600 page maintenance manual.

Lol! Yeah man... that's one bad@$$ed set of instructions!

Wish all instructions were that thorough, yet so completely to the point.

Glad it helped someone.
