as you are awre by now iam new to this forum and the fit in general i tired looking up allot of info on the fits but,.,. allot of times i get the parts supply stuff,.,. once i found some info on wikipedia,. but i alos remember a time when wikipedia told me "the bush admin,. told no lies"

so what do all the gd3 gd8 or whatever they are mean
whats "ff"--"rs"--ssm"

my time is limited on the internet since me and the wife are stealing it from somebody in our apartment complex so any info would be a great help,.\

 

I can see how it would be difficult to find the meanings to some of these acronyms.

GD3 - Chassis code for the first generation Fit.

GE8 - Chassis code for the second(new) generation Fit.

FF - Front Engine/Front Wheel Drive

RS - "Road Sailing" edition. It is the Japanese equivalent of the Honda Fit Sport.

SSM - Storm Silver Metallic(It is a paint color on the new fit, possibly on the old fit as well, not sure)

 

FF could also mean Fit Freak!
