What's that round thing on our front bumper (I've got a base, but I assume it's similar on the sport)? You know, the spot that looks like a little cutout has been plugged up? Heck, I see it on a lot of cars and still don't know what it is. Some kind of access? Doesn't seem like it opens.

 

its for the tow hook, the tow hook should be in your jack pack with the lug wrench.

Anyone know if there is a licence plate mount that will screw into the tow hook area? I know they make them for G35's and 350z's but I think it would look nice on the Fit also.

 

that looks nice man think honda sells extra covers color matched im getting a black T1R tow hook but i want to heep the ring around it to conceal the gap also would like to pop a stocker back on if i decide to sell or something? Where did you get your H?

 

funny you ask, cuz i'm in the process of mocking up a licence plate holder that just screws into that place, i got lucky to intercept my fit befoer the stupic PDI tech drilled that screw into the front bumper, and after getting a ticket for not having a ft. plate (the law here) i'm going to make a mount for there, it's a perfect spot and the a/c will run a little cooler in the summer without the plate in the way

 

well i didnt break off my little cap thing, theres a way you can take it off without breakin it, i still have mine and its not broke... i used to have it in the back but it looks better in the front i think

oh not brake it im going to use a dremel and cut out a small opening for the tow hook in the tow hook cover so when its all on it looks like the hook was installed factory no gap where the plug had to be removed
