why do i have a round hole in my fit base's bumper? its filled in with a round thing and of course the paint is starting to come off of the round thing. its right in the front of the bumper to the left of the license plate.

it drives me nuts every time i look at the car.

 

It is for the front tow hook.

 

thats for the tow hook. You pop out the round cover and screw in the tow hook.

 

Our salesman told us that it was also used to tie down the car during shipment.

 

Thank you, it looks like a mistake. like something should go there. like its a part that pops out and a light pops in. I dont like it but i am glad to know its normal.
