Here is what that process looks like on a GD3 :P

I painted the wheel from flat black to gloss black. Sanded, primed twice, 3 coats of acrylic enamel paint from autozone. I'm not a pro, but at night it looks mucho bettero than flat black and I can't afford new wheels or powdercoat! See here's a before pic:

Not bad man but I think you should have stuck with the flat black but maybe a few more pics for a better visual.. Good job though painting a wheel is no easy task.

Very clean! Black is best, it's not flamboyant like blue or red or other colors.. very subtle.

All I need now is new tires. These Enkeis came with washedout oldass tires. Everything is blacked out on my car except the tires! lol sorry for threadjack but it was kinda on topic because of caliper painting!

I was thinking of painting the tires actually lol but it would fade and crack so fast...besides, the date on the tires said 2003. The guy said they have 50k miles but it shakes my car a bit and I think it needs an upgrade...

You really should get new tires. The rubber in those ones will be starting to go off by now

My Grandmother had the factory tires on her car (It was a Holden Gemini - like a Chevette) for around eight years. They never wore out, they cracked from age. Scared me a couple of times too - absolutely grip-free.
Nice job painting the wheels BTW.
