Just installed interior illumination kit
Yup, the standard install has them hooked up to the headlights, so I did that. I don't know enough about wiring to do otherwise. If you can figure out how to hook it up so that it turns on when the door opens, that would be awesome!

Can anyone that installed them elaborate how they hook to a power source such as the headlight? Is their a plug that is already their for them, or do you actually have to splice into and t into some existing wires?
Its all plug and play. No splicing. The power source is from the side view mirror control harness. Very simple install.
I got these installed by the dealership, and i was actually really disapointed in them. They are very dim and barely make my floormats visable. Im going to see if i can replace the LEDs for brighter ones or something.
