Cool Got my TW M/T 5spd Sport last night! :D

Didn't really order it, it just so happened that the car was being made the day I told them I wanted it, haha. So I did that on 2/9/09, got it 3/16/09; not too shabby!

I absolutely love it already, my only gripe is the side mirrors and the way the water stays on them; its been raining quite a bit lately so its kind of annoying, especially when the water dries and spots real bad, but if thats my only gripe I guess we're doing pretty good.

Got her with 9 miles on the clock!

The DD the Fit is replacing - i've got nothing but love & respect for my '91, that car has seen hell; it has a B16A swap and all kinds of goodies in it.

Thumbs up Nice car!

You have good taste!

Does the Fit seem a lot bigger than the Civic on the inside?

How does it ride in comparison? How about power? (I've owned 2 Civics myself - '85 & '91)

Thank ya! I loooove the Taffeta White, love it.

Well I mean the Fit has been compared to the 88-91 Civics all along. And while they are basically the same level of cars from Honda, they are two very different vehicles. The Fit seems much bigger inside, but I'm betting I could haul just as much in my old Civic as the Fit.

The ride....well, my civic isn't stock to say the least. It has Adjustable Koni Yellow struts & H&R race springs, Suspension Techniques 26mm front & rear swaybars, rear disc conversion, all strut bars, Energy Suspension bushings (complete), etc. etc. just in suspension alone, that being said; the ride isn't harsh at all if you set the Koni's to full soft, but its not a forgiving ride either.

The Fit's ride is just....nice, it's what I want in a DD. I don't want something that rides like a cadillac to where you can't feel the road; I want to feel the bumps and the road itself. Thats part of what makes a car what it is! But yes, the Fit's ride is much more compliant than my Civic's although my Civic's suspension isn't set up to be overly compliant.

Power-wise, well my Civic again has a larger engine in it (B16A from an JDM Integra XSi (PR3), with just a couple bolt-ons, but it's always ran good since I got it from Hmotors. Just a couple months ago it dyno'd 161hp/113tq and it dyno'd that about 3 years ago on the same exact dyno, so I am very pleased about that. But yeah my Civic will roast the Fit in all ways lol, but i'm not talking down to the Fit; it moves just fine for what it is!

Thanks! Do you come in for Fun Fest or what in KPT if you don't mind me asking? Maybe we'll run across each other this coming July!

Over the last 36 hrs or so i've put over 300 miles on mine haha, i've taken it a little over 4k rpm earlier in the mountains, hard to resist revving any higher! Trying my hardest to let it break-in some first before I wring its neck, lol.

I mean the Navi makes the car look a lot more classy & nice, but I don't see how much better the Honda Navi is than say my Garmin Nuvi. So I mean if you have the extra cash; i'd get the Navi, but i'm fine using my Garmin! Good luck in getting one!

My civic just started my love for white, and after finding out that the White M/T was one of the more rare combo's, I decided I had to have it! haha

Thanks everyone else for the kind words!

And just fyi: I had to think for a second, but yes; my fridge is a white Roper, hahahaha.

Congrats on the new car!

We get ours hopefully sometime this week, ordered jan 21st w/ est delivery of March 15. I'm in the same boat but 93 civic ls/vtec and 09 fit s both milano red.

I just called the dealership and they said that all their est del dates are all messed up and that everything is backed up. :-(

Thanks! Man the waiting game sucks sooo much! I know a month and a half felt like an eternity for me lol. Yeah the fit is an awesome upgrade from a swapped Honda, excellent daily to have! Let us know when you get yours!
