Loose wiring harness found in Fuse box area?!?!

I was disabling the DRL's and was looking for fuse #15 when i noticed some strange wires just chillin behind the foot cover where the hood release is....anyone know what these wires belong to? My guess is the dealer had an alarm on it and then removed it when i chose NOT to buy the alarm...

any feedback would be great. but if this IS in fact a harness for an alarm, there's not really any need to buy the alarm/installation package from the dealer for $800 right? i should just need to get the unit and plug it in right?

Your dealer wanted $800 for an alarm? I realize this is a car dealer we are talking about and I shouldn't be shocked. But 800 freeking dollars?

Then again, mine listed $1995 for pinstripes, door edge guards and wheel well guards.

yeah...$800 freakin dollars is right! i haggled with em for a long time before i signed the contract and they went as low as i could get them to go so they offered me my choice of either the $800 alarm or lojack. I KNOW lojack is pricey so i took the free lojack. figured i could get an alarm for a cheaper price later on.
