I am trying to upgrade my components piecemeal and ran into some questions. I have seen the wiring layout provided by kimonostereo in his post about installing a Basslink.

My issue is that I took out the nav head unit and the wires look mostly the same but the PIN numbers listed in his post just don't match. Plus, on the top row of wires (between #1 and #12) there is an extra white wire with silver spots.

Once I got everything apart and looked:
#1 is black
#2 grey
#3 brown
#6 blue
#7 orange
#12 is red with silver spots
#13 grey with silver(?)
#14 orange with silver spots (confirmed hot with key to accesory)
#24 is pink with silver spots

Now going with the basslink post, the grey/brown should be rear left and the blue/orange is rear right. The reason I am focusing here is that I want to install my Rockford 301m amp to the rear line level inputs from the head unit to power two Kicker CompVR 8" in a box I built for a Jeep I had.

Can anyone confirm this info/speculation? I am hooking it up tomorrow, so if no one responds I guess I will post my results ;-)
