Dome Light Wiring

I am trying to install my key ring light to work with my dome light. I have seen the sticky in the lighting section of the forum regarding this https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...ome-light.html but I just wanted to know if anybody knew if it was the same thing for the 09 sport? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

the wiring is totally different.
plus i don't think it will work with the dome
light because it dims. i tried it myself and got
a really dim light.
i believe the wires were blue and pink on
a clip all by themselves on the fuse box.
if we can eliminate the dimmer part of the dome
light. then this would work. but as long as that
dimmer feature keeps working the ring will not work.

I just connected my key ring light to the pink and blue wires and it worked! Niko3257 did you connect negative to the blue and positive to the pink? Now it is in sync with the dome light and it works perfectly! I wish I would have asked this question a long time ago. The key ring light is bright blue when I open the door... then lighter when I close it... and finally when i turn the car on it slowly turns off.

Sorry if I didn't clarify at first, I made my own key ring light out of some leds and an acrylic stick. I wish I could have gotten one from jdm _dohc_sir but money is tight so I decided to see if I could find any alternatives. I stumbled upon this website while searching and decided to go with this: MOBILE'S DEN
