Radio USB plug

I did search and I could not find any information.
My Fit did not come with a USB plug, and it's like a $400 item from the dealer. If I have to remove my radio for my GPS install could I simply get a plug and put in a USB plug? Is the radio the same head unit?

And on another radio question my Fit does not have rear speakers, because some Fits come with 6 speakers will there be wires buck there to install a set of speakers. Thanks for the help.

He said he has a Canadian LX in another thread.

The LX has 4 speakers, 2 in front doors and 2 in back doors. It just doesn't have the tweeters up front on the dash.

Gotcha

As for the USB question, yes, if you get the USB kit, then you will be able to charge through it.

Thanks for the information and links. Yes I bought the Canadian LX the Sport (in Canada) didn't seem worth the extra $. I didn't want the lower profile tires (I live in rural Ontario). I can't believe how much they want for a USB plug, I guess I'll live with the aux. in.

Just get an aftermarket headunit with USB input for mp3's.
