What did you do to your GE fit today?

I already started cutting/shaving it when I put it on. You couldn't even get it in without cutting it, it's just too big (yes that's what she said ). But I did all of it myself. Just use a dremel with the plastic cutting head and then the sand paper head to get it down to the perfect shape and size. I'm gonna post a thread on it when I get a chance to get all the pics together and uploaded. Hopefully late tonight or by friday for sure.

Looks sharp Jamy! Yeah, still a bit too close to the diffuser. Specially on long trips, you want enough clearance so the constant heat radiated from the pipes do not eat up your diffuser.

Oh it melted a good 5 mm on the hour long trip back to the house this morning. Hasn't melted anymore but the longest trip since that one was about 20 minutes. I'll definitely be cutting some more off. It's not symmetrical enough yet. I'm too damn picky..

Custom exhaust usually means tuning and welding and doing everything else yourself. Which = pita. I paid my $ for something I could pretty much just bolt on and know it would work. If i decide to get a different single pipe muffler. I'll just put the CF diffuser from JDP on and it'll cover it up.

At looooong last, I finally got her registered and took my first drive! WAHOOO!!!! It was a trying 3 1/2 weeks! I purchased my '09 Sport as a private sale, but the previous owner had a lien on her. It took 2 1/2 weeks to get the lien release from the bank (we paid the loan off at the bank, but Chase would not issue the lien release right then and there - it had to be "processed" and mailed to the original owner!). I finally received the paperwork the day before leaving for vacation. The FIRST thing I did when returning from vaca was take a trip to Motor Vehicles and register her. Of course, that was followed by taking a nice drive...

Same size. It's the way the diffuser is cut that makes one look bigger. I'm working on getting that shaped right. Just haven't had time. All my professor have decided this week is the best week for them all to give a test...
