I destroyed an armadillo on my way home from Tallahassee last night. Made the worst sound ever. Like a rock being throwing in a blender. Tore part of my hd lip off and there is blood all under my car. smells good..

[QUOTE=0r30kid;1032078]i guess this is what i did this week. lol.
installed honda sport pedals
did the free spoiler mod
went to Balboa Park with my lady on our day off and snapped a couple pictures

Balboa Park was a beautiful place to be if you were young and had long hair in 1967. Not so much if a Marine wearing civilian clothing approved by the commanding officer in 1969. Talk about being ostracized by society, it was bad to have "the look" complete with 1000 yard stare anywhere in the country.

Welcome to the longest road trip... called Parenthood! Congrats Specboy! More of those moments to come. Things seemingly change in a blink of an eye.

I hear ya TC. Not much on the military side of things but with the advent of cyberspace, the average civie is now more aware of what GI Joe... (and Joanne ) goes through.

Got the new part on. I'll have pics up in the morning. Had to work into the night to get it done.

Just wanted to say thanks to Jason at A&J racing. Really helpful and great service! Can't thank you enough man!

Got mine done at a shop but I only paid $35...They didn't press it in, they grinded the plate behind and made space for the lugnut to be hammered out.

A&J has a sound clip of it up, but it doesn't do the sound justice. I'm gonna have to find a decent camera to get a good clip for y'all. I think it sounds great personally. Deep hum when idling and take off, but at freeway speeds in 5th gear you don't really hear it unless you get on it.

Yes the diffuser is cut a little bit. I'm still getting it cut more so the heat doesn't melt it. I didn't want to make a giant cut and be unhappy with a huge gaping hole that I couldn't' fix.

I'm loving it so far! Call me crazy but I think my gas milage went up a little bit. Only been on for a day so I'm not gonna make crazy claims just yet

Yeah I was the same way. I'm doing the install a little different than what Jason told me just out of personal preference. I'm still getting it slowly cut to perfection. I'm all about the OEM look for a lot of things and this is one of them. And to be honest, from any other drivers perspective, It looks like it should be there. Only when you get right up close (<6") is when you can start to notice that the bumper was cut/shaved back to accommodate the second pipe.

Are you cutting the diffuser yourself or are you going to a shop?

Realized that the engine pulls timimg as it spins faster. Maximum stock timing at 4500 rpms is 22 DBTDC and maximum stock timing at 6000 rpms is 20 DBTDC. The exact opposite of what i would expect / want
