What did you do to your GE fit today?
I wrapped her in a tarp so that water doesn't enter her window and further screw up the interior or the electronics in the door panel. My dog decided to re-decorate the interior of the car when he heard three shots of thunder that frightened him. He pulled off the door panel and rippped out the wiring. He's still alive, believe it or not!

I also lost my camera last month. It's been a tough month for fiscal responsibility here! But my husband might be able to take a photo with his blackberry. I kinda jammed it back into place and the dude down the block got the window up for us! Thank goodness. Flatbush, brooklyn, is NOT the place you want your window open 4 inches. However, I must say I did a great job with a giant plastic bag last night!
Through my tears, I prevailed.....

I got my piaa super plasma gt-x h4 bulbs in yesterday. Replaced my Silvania silverstar ultras. Just as good brightness but with a little better color (blueish purple). Offsets my LED fogs and LED parking lights (cool white (blueish in color)) really well.
Silvania's are now my backups.

I finally got the Honda door visors yesterday and installed them within an hour. It wasn't as hard as the directions sounded. And today I just removed the pin stripes on each side of the Fit, they were bugging me for some reason, hehe, a little WD-40 did the job and the afterwards wiped the area with a little soap and water.. Little steps...
I put my own on my new Fit yesterday. Not too difficult, but be careful not to drop the clips or studs, as there are no spares. Putting the foam pads in the rear window channels was tricky, but doable. Saved a bunch on the dealer install fees. They look really nice, and weathered their first road test today.
I highly recommend them.
I also ordered my window tints yesterday. I hope they go on as well as the visors did.

Busy weekend for the Fit....Saturday I dropped an eliptical trainer off to my brother, then picked up an erg/rowing machine. Was much easier fitting the eliptical in the Fit than in my Civic coupe
Didn't even need a screwdriver!
It was kind of amusing picking up the erg. As I pulled into the parking lot and drove past my friend I heard her say "How is he going to fit it in that little car?!" and apparently all the neighbors were joking about it. Actually, I looked up the dimensions in advance to avoid an embarassing situation and knew that it even if I couldn't disassemble the two pieces it would fit in "long mode."
Sunday I drove in a Q&A Rallye. Finshed 8 out of 9...and one team DNF (in other words we were DFL). That said, after an initial bout of frustration right after starting, the wife and I decided to not make ourselves crazy trying to win and instead just sit back and enjoy the drive and if we missed any of the questions we wouldn't sweat it. We had a nice two hours of exploring the windy backroads of the area.
