I just installed my door visors two day ago. They visually change the shape of the car some how for the better but I cannot explain it. It takes away from the height of the window maybe? Anyway the way your Fit looks is what I consider the standard of what they should look like.

This year I did the newb thing and JDMed the rear wiper and installed an RS badge but next year (after the novelty wears off) I will de-badge and delete the rear wiper. Yours looks so clean and sharp!

Can you tell me where you sourced your tails from? Are all those made by Depot or is there a Japanese manufacturer that make these. I'm not well versed in these tail lights at all and need your help getting a quality set.

Pardon if Asked and Answered already but what kind of wheels are those?

I have been looking at something like these but yours are very similar to what I am looking for.

Thank you
The door visors do make the car look a bit sleeker, I blame it on the lowered window line as you said. Takes away some of the awkward height from the Fit. My tail lights are OEM, I bought them off of a local a few months ago. Your best bet is to wait for a set to go up for sale on here. They aren't too hard to source as long as you aren't expecting them to be new.

My rims are Momo Revenge's, 17x7 et43.

I'm still uncertain whether I am or not, since I'm still toying with the idea of new rims. As I said in my build thread, the only thing really stopping me is the NUE specs. Either way, it's going to take a couple months before they're up for sale; I have to save up for a new set first.

Rotiform can also shave off 5mm from the pad of the wheel for an additional cost. I was considering this setup a few months back, but even 8" and +35 was too much for me to want to break my suspension geometry and rub the hell out of my fenders.

If it's only 5mm then I wouldn't even bother.
I've been looking into it quite a bit, and it seems that quite a few people have gotten away with 16x8 +20 and 17x8.25 +25. I'm not concerned with my suspension geometry since I'm too low for it to be functional anyways, I'm just concerned with how often it's going to rub. The 215's on a 17x7 +43 only rub when my wheel is turned and I hit a pretty mean bump.

Because we live in two different parts of the world it would be cost prohibitive for me to purchase your wheels. Why on earth would you want to give them up is a mystery to me!!!!!

Thank-you much for the wheel specs and I will keep an eye out for the tails..

Regards,

Dwayne

Rampo, how do they compare to stock (ride, noise level, any gas mileage difference)?

Installed a Progress RSB (powdercoated red) on my '12 base. Thanks to BlueBoogers for the bar--excellent transaction. Install couldn't have been easier. Also thanks to Mole177 for the tip about lifting the rubber boot with a screwdriver to fit in the middle bolt on the passenger side. Took the car out for a test drive and hit some curvy freeway onramps/offramps hard. It feels flatter and a little more settled at higher speed turns where before the rear end was jittery.

Sure thing. I've since bought another bar, but may ditch it when I swap on the CR-Z rear end.

Still too new to really give a thourough assessment. But they have a nice on center feel. The car feels really planted in the turns. They are definitely quieter than the stock Bridgestones. As far as gas mileage, still too early to tell. I just completed a 200 mile drive to Maine and the mileage was 36 rather than my typical 38, but that could be due to the mountain driving and the twisties. The 205/50 size fills out the wheel openings, nicely. Since these are considered "performance" they are a softer compound and rated a somewhat low 40000 mile thread life.

Is this a straight swap? Where will or did you get a CR-Z rear-end?

Same chassis, so it'll likely just bolt right up. No one has actually tried it.

Will you go 5 lug with the swap? People use to do this with the Corolla XRS to the lower models same car just one offer disc brakes.
