^^ glad it's all fixed.

Here's the daytime video. Getting the rears tomorrow. I'll probably make a thread on these with them vs stock and install process.

just vacuumed my fit and installed the husky liners that I bought and I prefer the plastic rubbery ones to the fabric.

Finally (after 5 days of curing) put the new red rims on. A bit of fun color! (And painted in my back yard)

So now that I am older and not trying to look "Fast and Furious" with any my vehicles. To maintain as close as possible to the original factory appearance of a GE8 Sport. I've installed Eibach Pro-Kit and 20mm wheel spacers on the rear only. Using factory wheels, the rear wheels now have the same distance (flushness) to the wheel well as the front (non-sunk in) wheels. This set up does not rub and feel not much different from stock. In fact I would say it feels much better than stock and it looks so much nicer. All Fit Sports should have came this way from the factory in my opinion. Sry no pics available.

Question I kept the 08 Fit. Can you help me bling it up a bit?

I've got the 4-door base model in silver with black upholstery that's damaged by a careless smoker. Only 12,000 miles (REALLY). My goal is to make it sporty/elegant, something a 50 year old in Europe would drive. Here are my initial thoughts.

The bucket seats are stiff/I would like charcoal leather..
Would also like to change the transmission grip to leather...
Sound system is ok (I'm a bit deaf). Ride is more important.
How much window tinting is appropriate and legal in CA? What kind?
Recommendations for mats and cargo covers? Two dogs.
The ride is a little rough..don't want to lower car but would like to upgrade suspension..
Wheels and rims...I don't want 'bling" but I want a wow factor..
Any other extras I can add that won't scream "midlife cisis?" lol. I'm open to suggestions AND people who can do it form me. I'm in San Fernando Valley. I've never been into cars, but I adore this baby. Anyone?

Go to ca dmv and type in window tint in the search box. It will pull up the most current law.

I went to the beach again and had a nice surf session then headed to lunch with my brother and after that I went home and installed what I just got last night.

Overall the install was pretty easy except for the fact that I dropped one of the screws into the body area behind the lights and had to jerryrig a magnet on the end of a screwdriver to get it out.

Deductible is $500 so not even worth it go through insurance

I ended up getting it replaced entirely and after shopping around $275 was the lowest I found for the Fit

1) You can upgrade the seats to Clazzio seat covers in Leather finish
2) If you have an AT there is a Sport accessory shift knob from Honda
3) Minimal tint for the front windows is allowed and all other windows you can go as dark as you want. I have 35% front and 25% for the rest of the car
4) Weathertech floor covers are more sturdy than the OEM
5) You could go with Coilovers which would set you back around $900 installed
6) Wheels depend on your budget (with tires)

Got my state inspection done this morning, this weekend I will do a drain and fill of my A/T as well as replace brake pads/rotors and bleed the brake lines. Car has a little over 60k on it after 3 years of ownership.

Those braces will be undetectable in terms of performance gains but look nice

They do help protect your aftermarket exhausts though since they take the beating for that area of the chassis
