Do you have any sound clips w/ the borla muffler?

Alrighty so my neo chrome lugs should be coming in tomorrow, my side moldings I guess will be processed tomorrow as they probably don't do business on weekends. And I just ordered some Mugen manual transmission pedals

I have this itching crazy idea for my wheels, but I'd have to manage the college budget first before I do anything

I made and put in a screen to protect the condensor. Detailed inside and out. I can't wait for my air intake from PRM I ordered to come in. Narrowly avoided road debris on E35 at 65mph. I'm very impressed with Fit's response and handleing.

I used ABS for the first time in my life today.. I guess its comparable to a jumbo jet landing on a runway. Contemplating wider tires on my OEM base rim... I also saw more fits today, maybe about 12 than I have in an entire week.

Yeah, it's scary isn't it? My wider tires are on order, and should be here next week.

Just get wider wheels too, the stock steelies are 5 inches wide.

MY LUGS CAME!!!! .............BUT I GOT OWNED

THEY DON'T FIT MY WHEEL!!!

Thing is that the head part wont fit through my lug nut hole, but the thread size is 12x1.5 which is the thread size for all Honda's.

So I guess they are up for grabs. I obviously only opened the case and took one out to see the fitment. I was a bit sketchy when they arrived, and I guess my spidey sense was right :'( I was so looking forward to them too

I want what I paid since they are seriously brand new.

$89 gets them. But that is without shipping, I'll need to quote first to see how much it would cost to get to whoever buys it

Here are some pics:

would wider tires help? isn't there the same amount of tire in contact with the ground regardless of width?

Wider = more suface area. That also means better stopping power and sharper turning radius.

But, just wider tires you run into other problems, like how they won't fit on the wheel very well. You could probably go to a 185 width tire with the stock base steelies. I wouldn't go any wider. The tire could wear uneven, it might unseat from the wheel. That's even if you could find a shop to do it for you, it'd be extremely hard to mount, so I can imagine some places won't even do it.

On top of that, if you're going to replace tires that are still good, you might as well replace the wheels too. Then you have a spare set of wheels and tires.

Tire rack has some 15x7 wheels for 12.9 lbs @ $99. That's a pretty good deal to me.

EDIT: Also, watch all the honda forums, I picked up some König Helium 15x6 wheels with Falken Zeix ze-912's on them for $600 shipped.

i was treating the tires as if they just interacted as (coeff. of fric.)(Normal Force). I guess in reality the rubber responds differently than basic equations can explain. so yes, i guess they would help.

Finally got around to disabling the DRL's--could Honda have come up with a more diabolical place to put the fuse panel!!!!???? I felt like I should have trained to be a contortionist to get to it.....Hope I don't have to replace any fuses soon!
