What did you do to your GE fit today?
Well I'm 6' 2" and 205lb,
Soon as I removed that piece I noticed I could sit back into the seat more, not a huge amount but the over the top non adjustable lumbar support issue was much less significant, which felt much more comfortable, and as a bonus since I could lean back into the seat back a little more, the side bolstering seemed a little more effective. Not a night and day difference, but a noticeable improvement that I'd do again in a heart beat. I'm going to try taking the springs out that go across where it was tomorrow and compare that to just the plastic piece being removed.
I commute for work 45min one way, so this makes the car much more pleasant with the stock seats.
P.S. Just unzip the back of the seat, it's fairly self explanatory from there.

It’s quite noticeable, to jump from it all being there to removing all 3 components at once, it would be a very noticeable difference I believe. If you find the GE8 seats uncomfortable I’d highly recommend you try removing that bit, pretty easy to reinstall if for some reason you didn’t like it and wanted to.

Replaced all four fuel injectors yesterday on the GE8 due to it having misfires on cylinders 2 and 3.
It has been an ongoing and intermittent ordeal as I've been shaking this car down to rid it of most mechanical gremlins before preparing it for track use. Cylinder 2 was intermittently misfiring... Cylinder 3 decided to flat out fail last week after letting the GE sit a month. I suppose it got jealous of the other vehicles getting used more than it while the registration was out. haha

Replaced post CAT O2 sensor, pulled out a NTK unit, replaced with Denso. Had I known the Denso didn't have the little rubber pieces in the particular spots you need them to clip back into the OEM sheet metal clips, I'd gotten the NTK. IMO Order the NTK, not that Denso isn't a quality brand, it is, it just didn't have those rubber pieces and so I had to pinch the sheet metal clips closed around the O2 Sensors wiring to keep it where it's supposed to be which I don't like having to do.
