Check out this URL which covers it. The fan switch only works on the highest setting. I was able to get Honda to cover half of the repair which seemed fair as my car was out of warranty when it happened.

Installed a new HPS intake today on my 2010 Fit M/T
Easy install..only took about an hour. Really opened up the engine area.
Haven't driven it much, but I like the sound. Can't tell yet if any more power.

Just in case someone here want to know the maximum clearance (from the surface of the metal of the door) for your door speaker magnet to the glass/window when it's rolled down... here is the exact measurement to the mm and it is 50.92mm...

I never really pay attention to the Honda OEM speaker before,
I am surprise that as bad looking as the Honda OEM speaker looks (magnet and basket) compare to the Dynaudio Esotar2 650... the Honda OEM speaker do sounds decent...
I hope there still will be lot of improvement after I finished this upgrade

More picture and details here:

Honda OEM speaker is the one on the right side of course

I tossed in a set of WeatherTech all season mats in the front today- the old OEM carpet mats had seen better days (I wore a hole in the driver's side one where my heel sat...)I tried using the OEM mat retainers, but they did not work with the WeatherTechs, so I put in the retainers that came with the mats....

I have WeatherTech floormats in the front and they are a great investment in all vehicles. The OEM trunk mats in a CRV, Pilot, and Fit I can attest to, they are good investments also. I think these simple items are a great resale product, because it's less wear and tear on your vehicle. I can strip the front WeatherTechs out when I sell, and the OEM carpet insets are like new. Wax two times a year, keep it clean, make some simple mods, and car sells itself when it's time.

I finally replaced my bad solution to plugging the fifth injector hole on my sprintex supercharger. I modeled and printed a plug from NylonX (crazy durable stuff). It turned out great.

So what are people doing to lift these cars? Jack and jack stands? I need to start doing all my own maintenance and I've always been confused as to where you put stands. I saw something about people bending things with the stands because they did it wrong. Not trying to get squished so I definitely want to do it right. It's a bit too low to slide under with a skateboard.

I do just in front of or behind the wheel under the doors
Don't know about the fit but the jazz also has a jacking point under the boot, just in front of the rear bumper
The jacking points are wavy and look to have a hole through

My rear tires (Michelin Pilot Super Sport 215/40ZR18) need to be replace since 6 months ago, but the new replacement model Michelin Pilot Sport 4s that came out last year (Jan 2017) still not available in the size that I want, so I have to wait.

When I use the OZ racing wheel, I use the 225/40ZR18 and I like it better (more sidewall to absorb small bump, much more grip, and less sensitive to negative camber and I can go to car wash with rail without worry the wheel get scratch since the tire protect it)
so I decided the new tire will have to be back to the 225/40ZR18 size.

Finally about 10 days ago,
Michelin release the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s in 225/40ZR18 and Tire rack have them so I order 2 pieces right away.

Currently I am using 15mm spacer for the rear,
I figure that since this tire is wider (and taller) 225 vs. 215, I need thinner spacer so I also bought a pair of 12mm spacer.

Here is the old tire... looks like I replace them right on time:

New tires waiting to be installed:

By the way the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s also have the "Premium Touch" logo:

I also get the best customer service from a tire installer today!
First I research the installer near my area that equipped with the latest Hunter Install and Balancing Machine.
preferably the Hunter GSP9700 Road Force Elite Balancing Machine using Hunter website:
https://www.hunter.com/gsp9700
then use the Yelp to make sure they have good rating.
It's worth it.

I took my car to
PK Auto Design at 12473 Gladstone Ave, Suite F, Sylmar, CA91342

Paul the owner of PK Auto Design do the tire install and balancing himself.
Paul even wipe clean my dirty wheel (I just return from Arizona and don't have time to wash my car). He also clean the residue from the last balancing weight.
Later Hunter his assistant work on my second wheel because Paul have guest and do the same perfect job.
They then tighten the lug nut to 85ft/lb just like what I ask them to.

While I wait, William (Paul's father) spent time talking about engineering stuff with me since both him and I are engineers

I mean they really treated the customer like a KING !!!
I never experience this level of customer service before...

oh one more thing,
I always go to tire installer who either have Hunter Road Force Touch or better the Elite model,
but this is the only place I visit that actually USE the Road Force function when balancing my wheel/tire.
other place never use the Road Force function...

More pictures of the balancing machine and after install below:

The front tire still 215/40ZR18, notice the different in height of the sidewall and the way the rear 225/40ZR18 fill up the fender wheel better:

I was a bit worried that the differences in front rear tire diameter will mess up the VSA or ABS,
so I drive at freeway, and try braking as hard as possible (when it is safe to do) from high speed, and no problem with ABS, car stay stable

Now, I just need to reprogram the TPMS since I also install new TPMS valve,
that and I need to trim the lug stud since my BBS lug nut will not fit due to the 3mm less on the spacer (for now I just use Open Lug Nut).

Oh, I forgot to mention, the price Paul charge me is about the same price as what other place charge !!! Very Reasonable
