Gave it an oil change (+new filter) and rotated the tires... those tires aren't going to last another rotation... sigh, barely a year since I bought them.
Need to decide on whether to stick with Continental DWS... I liked the previous version, but hating the "06" version.
edit: forgot to add, finally determined the source of an ongoing rattle... the tie-rod (end link) on the right side of the front sway bar. Seems like the inner bushing is worn out.
Recently installed a Sony XAV-AX5000. I'm very happy with it. I am working on also adding a backup camera. Used the Nav Dash Panel and bracker with a Metra Honda Pilot trim kit. I was able to direct connect the steering wheel controls and use the custom settings in the unit to program the functions. Touchcreen is very responsive and it has a very bright display. I like the Sony user interface as it is very easy to use.
Haven't done anything with my Fit since shortly after getting it about 3 years ago, I think. Had swapped the stereo unit out for an aftermarket. Been wanting to do something more, so the other day I finally scheduled to get that airbag recall done, but also get the armrest with storage installed and a nose mask to be cut and put on. Both of these I've actually had in the trunk for about 2 years.
Also ordered the Spyder taillights last night, which I'll install ASAP, when they arrive. Wanting to swap out the headlights too, to match. Any suggestions? Links would be welcome. Tried checking on Amazon, CARiD, and Andy's Auto, which are the only places I can seem to find with a decent selection of aftermarket stuff. Problem is, only headlight stuff I see on any of them look to be just bulbs or headlight assemblies that just look too stock to me.
After the taillights I think my next item to tackle would be the front seats. Or maybe I'll tint the windows...
Edit:
After posting this the site where I ordered the Spyder taillights from contacted me saying that it's a discontinued item and will not be back in stock. Found them on another site that is out, but claims more stock will be in 8/8, so fingers crossed I can grab them then.

Finally replaced both endlinks for the front sway bar.
The nuts at the bottom (sway bar mount) refused to come off. I think threads rusted over. I gave up and used a dremel to slice the bolt almost in half. I didn't slice all the way because I worried about cutting into the sway bar. I used a flat tip screw driver to pry it apart slightly and then used a wrench to twist it off like normally. Did that for both sides.
I really hate dealing with threaded bolts that need Allen wrenches. Why couldn't they just put a regular hex head on the other side right before the rubber boot?!?
^^
You can use a long nose vise grip to squeeze the bolt from the back, then use an impact wrench to remove the nut. Don't do this a on a new endlink, but no problem for those that will go in the garbage.

I have an impact wrench... but the compressor is low volume and whats worse, just as I was prepping it to work on the endlink, the control knob failed (lost all pressure in the outlet)... sigh.
My Lloyd Rubbertite mats arrived. I like the look of the maroon with the black interior and the silver exterior. The mats are cut really nicely, and so far I am very happy with them.

replace your endlinks with Moog. they don't use the allen key.
