Looks good. Did you paint the bra? I took mine off and maybe this would make me put it back on.

I color matched the hood wind deflector. Its a lot more subtle, and looks a tad more higher quality now that its no longer bare plastic

Changed out springs to Tein Basis coilovers and Progress rear sway bar. Also set it higher than with the springs for additional driveability!

It's wrapped in Avery metallic brown vinyl

I love it! It’s made a world of difference coming from stock shocks and springs. Car is solid and much quieter and corners very well. Very impressed given the lower cost point of the tein basis. Here's another pic during cloudy weather and unwashed

Is that the original street basis or the new street basis Z? How much lower can it go?

These are the basis Z ones. I got them from kseriesparts. I’m only halfway down on the adjustment threads so they can go much lower

Thanks!

Did some more work this weekend.
Got the car aligned
Added the bumper protector strip
Finished up installing the grill on the spare tire subwoofer box I built
Added the 09 cargo privacy cover

Still to do:
I am replacing that big amp with the JL HX300/1 which I can fit behind a panel or under the floor easily
Have aries floor lines coming in

You know that secret compartment underneath the drivers side rear seat? That's where I mounted my amp.

The original 151R battery will no longer hold a charge after sitting for a few weeks (it was a slow death that started a year ago) so I had no choice but to get a 51R battery from Costco and do some work installing it at an angle in the engine bay. Needed a bigger battery anyways as I have a dash cam running on parking mode. It's not pretty, but I'm not going back to that tiny battery for double the price.

It's some cheap no-name amp. I'm sure there are some other small amps that fit.

Thanks! Just trying to keep it clean and functional. Today finished up changing out the amp. Now everything is nice and stealth

The amp is secured with simple vhb tape and dynamat around the edges to prevent rattling. Nice and secure so far! The 8” shallow sub is no teeth breaker but it’s a nice upgrade from stock. I built the box out of mdf (top) and fiberglass (the rest). Comes out quickly for access to the spare tire if needed. Also, Behind the glove compartment is an alpine mini 45x4 amp powering the pioneer speakers inside the cabin.

Changed my brakes for the first time! First brake pad replacement in 53k miles since I bought the car. Went with ceramic Wagner pads. I hope they last as long.

Installed 75A innovative mounts on my 09 Sport. Really love them. A lot of vibration for the first 100 miles or so but they seem to be breaking in nicely after 500. The difference in throttle response is night and day.
