Got my Koni shock replacement for the rear driver's side the other day and managed to put it in. The oem sleeve broke off, so i am running it naked now without the sleeve. So far the squeaking and creaking is gone.

Well, well, well...
The CTR may have to go to the back burner if I can get my old JZA70 back.

New rotors, break pads, and break lines. Well, could not do rear right break line since I would most likely strip the nut. 3 out of 4.

bye bye broken springs

Finally got around to replacing the Eibach Sportlines I installed 5 Chicago winters ago with some new Bilstein coilovers. (Note the two-piece rear spring -- no idea how long I was riding like that).

I changed my spark plugs this weekend at ~95,000 miles (and wiped down the coil packs). Plugs 1 and 2 were finger tight and looked decent. Plug 3 was loose and the coil pack was covered in soot. And plug 4 was super tight but also happened to look the worst -- like the porcelain was burnt.

Nice, those look like the centric blanks with the e-coating. What suspension are you running? It looks like you have an external resi which is neat.

Oh my! Hope your bilsteins make the car feel like new.

As for me, i drove the Fit around a bit this weekend, picked up oil and filter to do the change since the minder is at 15%. Drove to the Honda dealer to test drive a Civic with 6speed trans...wow is all I can say. Bad idea to do that because now selling the Fit seems to be sooner than expected.

To avoid confusion: "Break" is what you do to a bone; "Brake" applies to stopping and related components!

Hey Guys

Been MIA for a little while. I was in car buying mode and put the blinders on to anything else.

Anyway I am the proud new owner of this '97 NA Miata 1.8

I searched high and low and finally found one at the right price with 117,000 original miles.

Anyway here is the only pic I currently have.

I'll be checking in periodically, but my focus for the time being will be the Miata as I get it prepped for AutoX in the coming months.

Also been in the car buying mode....but more so selling the Fit to get a Civic Hatch Sport. Trying to sell as a complete package rather than part out.

But you and I are like minded...have taken ownership of this '01 NB miata as of 2 weeks ago. Only complaint is its Automatic =/...but hey....it was given to me so I can't complain about "free".

Tried the Gram Lights on it too haha
