The innovative mounts are awesome. I also have the 75A's. They are a little rough at first but once you break them in and dampen some of the rattles in the hatch and dash you wont even notice (except for how snappy and awesome they make the car feel). You will need a nut to secure the passenger mount (not included with the kit) as the OEM mount bolt screws into the mount itself and the innovative mount is open. Good luck!

What did I do to my Fit today? Well, a few days ago I gave my 2011 Fit Sport MT an engine swap... not by choice. I drove through high water and it suffered fatal hydro-lock. Ouch.
I got a replacement engine for a very good price, but the mechanic put conventional 5W-30 oil in it. Should I drain it and put in the recommended OW-20?

I think it is best to use 0W-20 especially since you are in Ohio and its colder climate there.

5w-30 is fine, unless temps drop to something like -20 *F. I say keep it till your next oil change. No point in throwing away good oil, right?

There are specific reinforced points at the front and rear of the body panels (see diagram). One is near the front edge of the driver/passenger doors, rear one is just forward of the rear wheel arch. Not hard to find, lay down next to the car and look along the body seam. Center the jack under these areas to lift. Place a jackstand under one of the suspension points on the A arm and slowly lower the car down. Repeat with the other side if needed. There is also a lifting point under the center of the rear of the car but I don't trust it. You are balancing the car ona small pad and it might tip to the side.

Have had a spring on mine for almost 9 years now. Most of time forget I have done this. I also have a throttle controller as well set on one of the Eco levels. This is mainly to give a smoother launch rather than a gas saving. I read somewhere on here using premium gas did not improve performance significantly.

Yeah, the spring should help...I was getting a sore shin driving distances.
I didn't expect much from the premium fuel, but it seems to have more response..which I like.
What I don't like is the 60 cent/gal difference over reg fuel. It used to be 40-50 cents/gal diff.
My '13 Fit is sitting on 66k miles and after reading enough post on blow spark plugs recently, I decided to change them out and also do the recommended valve adjustments.
Spark plugs seem ok, #2 and #3 did seem lose when I was removing them but still required decent torque to loosen up.
Now to my valves, holy shmokes! It is probably one of the old sayings "if it ain't broke don't fix it" applies. Either that OR the ticking has gotten louder.
This is my first doing a valve adjustment on any car, reviewed all possible DIY, went through each clearance twice, and made sure the car sat overnight. BUT still, the ticking is much louder than when I first touched it.
I drove it around the block and the ticking noise was still there SO I will try again first thing tomorrow morning.
