Not a night and day difference, but a noticeable improvement that I'd do again in a heart beat. I'm going to try taking the springs out that go across where it was tomorrow and compare that to just the plastic piece being removed.

I commute for work 45min one way, so this makes the car much more pleasant with the stock seats.

P.S. Just unzip the back of the seat, it's fairly self explanatory from there.
Oh wait I thought this was under the bottom seat cushion. This is the back rest of the seat. That's pretty nice, regardless. Being able to sink back into your seat is helpful, especially if you're taller. Curious to hear how you like it when you remove the springs.

Upon removing the springs soon as I got home and sitting back in the seat, the difference is probably twice that of just removing the plastic support piece.

It’s quite noticeable, to jump from it all being there to removing all 3 components at once, it would be a very noticeable difference I believe. If you find the GE8 seats uncomfortable I’d highly recommend you try removing that bit, pretty easy to reinstall if for some reason you didn’t like it and wanted to.
