Great job on those headlights. I'm gonna look up that kit.

I did an oil change today. The oil level is right smack dab at the full dot on the dip stick. Should I take some out? I have a fumoto drain valve so taking some oil isn't an issue at all. Is the oil level fine sitting at the full dot?

Hahaha! I never liked that armrest to begin with! Sat way too high for me to feel "relaxed." I had always thought of swapping it out with the one that drops into the center console since it looked like that one sat a little lower but never really got to it.

I really like it— definitely not meant for long drives but the support and rigidity is a nice plus. Feels like being hugged while taking corners haha. Also feel the road a bit more too so butt dyno feels like there was weight reduction even though the Fit seat it replaced wasn’t that much heavier at all at least when I took it out. I could weigh the stock one to confirm. I also might try to tilt the seat a smidge more but other than that I’m happy with it

Installed an Unequal Fabrication catback today! I found it on Marketplace from someone who K swapped their Fit and didn't need it anymore. I need to do some fine tuning and get a tip that's a bit more my style but VERY happy with the sound. Its 2.25" with a resonator and no muffler. It's pretty tame at idle and putting around but has a great sound under load and lets out the occasional crackle and pop on deceleration. I had an order in for a Yonaka but it was going to be significantly delayed due to tariffs.

Checked my plugs today and am glad I did. I just purchased the car maybe 3 weeks ago or so, and was happy to check since 2 and 3 were loose. I'll replace the coil pack at some point just to be thorough but look at that!!! Replaced all 4 with the IK22/anti seize/updated torque spec.

Just about done cleaning it— I think last thing would be to spray paint the metal parts that I soaked in evaporust due to some flash rust.

Installed P2M floor mats to replace the old universal ones my sister put in when she had the car! Love the vibe it gives. Fitment is nice too, drivers side doesn’t slide even without not having the oem anchors since it’s slightly large and fills most of the area compared to the stock carpet mats I got when I got the Fit.

Mine stripped as well. I found the easiest thing to do was to drill the head of the bolt off. Then the shaft spun right out.

You can use a hammer and punch, easier and faster than drilling. Just hammer the punch in the ccw direction and the screw will immediately loosen.

That’s a good idea. I’ll keep that in mind if ever needed again.

I had no luck with one of those impact drivers; the kind where you hit it with a hammer while trying to turn it. Then I tried using a JIS bit in my small cordless impact, which promptly stripped the first bolt. I eventually threw in the towel and drilled mine out, which took about three minutes each.

Fortunately replacement bolts are available at the parts store. Or you could just leave them off entirely - they don't really do anything once the wheel is back on - but I didn't like the idea of leaving a threaded hole open with nothing in it.
