Talking AutoX!

A few days ago, I attended my 4th AutoX with a friend who brought a GD3. Despite finishing last, I had a great time. The rainy weather caused the Fit to oversteer excessively, so I tried to control it as much as possible, but sliding was too much fun!

No pictures but I picked up a used Inno roof rack last night, need to get the fit kit for the Fit, but looking forward to installing it. Also getting ready to drop her off for window tint this morning.

Took her to get the windows tinted last week, 5% on the small front, the windshield strip, and the rear side windows and hatch, and 15% on the roll downs. Super happy!

Friend of mine hit the headlights with his magic and they look brand new...

Next up, not sure, maybe replace the a/c compressor and some tires since these tigerpaws ride like poop, but the suspension is in rough shape so it's probably a coilover and tire upgrade at the same time. We'll see.

Edit: didn't have before pictures, but the previous owner backed into a polebase at a decent speed and left a nice dent in the back bumper, damage was worse than I thought, and I will need a bit of pulling to get the bumper to fit correctly again, but I fixed it a little bit for now..lol may not be everyone's taste but it's funny to me.

Nothing whatsoever... did measure my fuel economy in my '12 5MT yesterday, revealed I was getting 32mpg and that with the A/C on most of the time.
I figure that's pretty good.

^Sounds pretty good to me.

I replaced my upper strut mounts yesterday. Found a bad sway bar end-link. ABS sensors are stuck. Oh well.

New stereo components

Today I am working on replacing the sound system. New head unit, amp, 2 underseat mini-subs, New door speakers with baffles. Used a metra harness but have a couple things to ask them as one plug doesn't fit. I have a dark charcoal 2019 LX, 20% tint around and 55% on windshield. I will be doing red accents inside to kinda go with Star Wars Darkside theme.

It is available through their Facebook page: Wk Motorsport. The install was a bit wonky at first but once I figured out the proper amount of spacers for mounting points everything works great

Shifter throws are 2.5” in between gears ⚙️

Do you mind if I ask how much they are? I don't want to message them for no reason.

Also I replaced my drive belt and tensioner pulley the other day. Definitely the most difficult thing I've done on the car so far. Mostly because of my lack of tools and the amount of corrosion my car has seen. But now I'm a pro at it lol 👍

I don't know if I can share here but sadly today a tiny pebble that I didn't see (just heard a PIP sound) hit my windshield on a fully paved road and I wasn't even going 20 mph, I don't feel that a pebble that tiny should have cracked the windshield,,,
Is it a problem among Fits windshields that it's so vulnerable?

Not that I have ever heard of. Windshield could previously have had a chip filled there or just got unlucky with the way the rock hit.

I've had windshields replaced on my Fits 3 times and suffered yet another crack last week.
