Lights look great! Am looking to purchase some for my 2013 as well, do you mind me asking how much they cost? I'm guessing around $800 USD.
Also is there a kit for how you did your front license plate? Been looking to modify mine like this as well. Sick Fit!!!
Thanks for the compliment, hit up @818_retrofits on IG for a quote. The license plate thing(forget what its called) was purchased on amazon. its pretty much 4 screws and you have you drill into your bumper

I've never seen a dirty fuel rail yet, albeit the oldest I've pulled were 23 or so. When fuel sits extensively (months) it goes through phase separation. Ethanol draws in water, water separates from the gas, and goop forms that looks an awful lot like algae. It gums up small motors, lawn mowers, leaf blowers, and some carbureted motorcycles (mine at least). It can gum up injectors too if the ports in 'em are small enough. Effin pilot jet on the Keihin FCR, no bigger than a needle point.
From what I've seen pulling, energizing, and blowing through injectors, all fuel cleaners seem to act like lube in the short term. They help the goop slip through. Fuel's already got additives, and so long as it doesn't sit for too long I haven't noticed a need for extra lube. Consider if you will the lack of an inline fuel filter on the Fit.
10 years back I took apart a GM 3.1's top end and scrubbed out of every part I removed. Sea foam, Chevron, Lucas, Royal Purple.. none of 'em made the carbon from the EGR any easier to remove even after a 48 hour soak
A wire brush and constant running water will do it. The water displaces the junk dislodged by the wire brush.. Whether that's an okay thing to do to cast aluminum is questionable I haven't personally seen any compelling evidence for using fuel additives in addition to what's already in gasoline unless a car or, more commonly, a small motor has sat. I ran plenty through the engine before pulling the head and the pistons were still coated in carbon. I don't know what the smoke is that people get out of their exhaust with seafoam, but one would need to use a borescope before and after, lets say a 6 month period, if they wanted to verify effectiveness. Smoke is just unburned whatevers after all.
New at this. Just recently bought this FIT to be my daily driver but I can't seem to stop modding it. I recently changed my tail lights and added LED bulbs, rear Mud flaps, and a Shark Fin to cover the factory antenna. Last weekend I had Ceramic Tints (50%) added on all windows including the windshield, Next weekend, probably Double Din radio...I'm still undecided on what Wheels to get. Coilovers or Lowering Springs?
The original DW65c fuel pump that I install way back in 2014, after installing the Sprintex SC, died back in April. The replacement (same DW26c) died on me last night. I don't know if it's a contaminate issue or something else. I'll check the filter to see if it's packed with sediments or something. If it is, might have to clean out the fuel tank. Though I would assume if the filter accumulated contaminates, it should've shown some sort of symptom somewhere... but the car seemed fine until it died, other than the parking brake being super loose. I tightened up the brakes last week, maybe too much.
I ordered the DW300c this time to see if there's any difference in performance (and maybe longevity?)... though, without a remap/piggyback of any kind, I don't think I'll see any benefit over the DW26c. Who knows.
I can't use the stock pump because the engine will run out of fuel pressure if I hold "high" RPM (4k-5k) for too long (also 4-5 seconds)... which I tend to do on the highway when I want to pass some one, but have to wait for the guy next to me to pass me first.
I love all of the fancy stuff you guys do. Myself, I just like to maintain and improve function over form. I recently had to change out the rear hatch handle. Rusted out as they do. Wasn't that bad of a job. Busted only one plastic clip. Bought replacement clips but less interested in replacing it. I just need to do it and be done. My car still starts like a champ and still gets great gas mileage. Rusty as hell but works a treat.
It's a unibody, so putting a push/bull bar on it prolly won't do. the most. I think it would just shift the damage you receive to a different location than the bumper, which is made to be smooshed. I thought about getting a bar too. There's a whole lot of deer in Georgia.. and people drive not so good here. Lots of rain, and I see a lot of bald tires in parking lots. Plus, cities here are really spread out, so people have to drive more to do daily errands, which means more accident potential. One dude I did brakes for wore them down to the point that they fell out of the calipers... and then proceeded to wear down the caliper pistons until brake fluid shot out and he had to stop with his parking brake.
When the weather is weird or the traffic is heavy (or if I'm in Atlanta at all,) I turn my headlights on. And I've asked my family to do the same when they drive. Being extra visible is a decent option for minimizing accident risk. If your headlights are heat/sun damaged and heavily opaqued, you might consider replacing the assemblies with new ones. That'd make your Fit look nicer, and enhance visibility.
I'm sorry I can't recommend a bar. Even if there is one made, I still don't think I'd recommend it.
