holy shit I just realized that I installed the bar backwards... I thought it looked funny!

in any event, I said to hell with it and ordered the progress springs since they were on sale directly from them for 137.

I was wondering if that was possible, so at least the mistake taught me something. Live and learn.

I was going to suggest checking the sway bolts a second time, glad you got it figured out.

Washed and wax the car again, but this time jacked up the back and undercoated the wheel wells where there is no cover or undercoating. This just bugged me since I got the car. Then the other day I saw a early 90's Civic hatch with massive rust in that area so I figure easy job and even if it is overkill it is better to err on over prevention.

i kept looking at it yesterday afternoon and remarking at the loss of ground clearance. so much for the gifted program in schools huh?

Lol that's funny you think you're running out. I told myself that too over a year ago....

i really don't want to delve into power mods on this car other than maybe a crank pulley in increase responsiveness. I also need to look into maybe modding the clutch master cylinder if that mod from the gd3 applies to the ge8. besides that, this is my daily. I'm buying a lightning next month as my birthday gift to myself. THAT will be the go-fast vehicle.

so i installed the progress bar... in the correct orientation this time.

imagine that, funky noises are gone.

spring removal isn't necessary, though dropping the shocks off the bar gives a ton more clearance as you raise the vehicle. ground clearance with the correct orientation is significantly improved over the reversed mounting.

Wow. Where do you live brother? Must get snow early.

I don't normally put my on till mid November. But I do hate people who put theirs on late as in dec or jan. They are the reason for pile ups on first snowfall.

Been meaning to do the same myself but keep putting it off. At least I can do it myself at home without being part of those huge lines

haha, no snow yet in the forecast, but the low's are in the upper mid 30F's starting this weekend so wet roads would make it too slick for my summer tires.

seems like my DWS's are broken in again since Spring and starting to grip real nice.

washed my GE tonight.

Replaced the window visor hardware with some threaded fasteners. Should be self-explanatory but can do a DIY post/pm if anyone needs.

I failed to heed everyone's warnings to be careful with the OEM push pin fastener thingies.

I had a local Ace nearby, but both those should carry what you need.

#4 or smaller would work with a length of 3/8" or 5/16". I also had to pick up some paint to blacken the heads.
