this is a continuation from yesterday..i have more pics.
i should just do a build thread...
cleaned the bay a little.

took 3M off the fenders.

cleaned and degreased side skirts.

degreased fenders...

took off the spoiler, cleaned and degreased the top and underside.

EVERYTHING is now done as far as disasembly, cleaning.
Tomorrow, sanding begins, prep work, then paint!

^Super jealous, that's my favorite white, can't wait for finished product.
Got this BNIB OEM 90's Civic shift knob. I've always liked them on old Hondas i've driven so thought why not try it on the Fit. Ended up loving it with the extension and will probably keep it on.

Dang wish I could afford a total respray like that! Just wrapping instead. My car is Crystal Black Pearl and HATE IT. Wrapping 3M matte white...just gotta find the time. That Lexus color is bangin. I love Honda Championship White too. Just a great plain white color. I would be afraid to park ANYWHERE though if I got that Lexus pearl paint!
How much was the trunk light? And is it PnP?
A&J Racing :: Specials :: AJRC GT Mirrors - Honda Fit 09-12 (GE8)
Those are pretty slick. Not a bad price either. Easy to install them?

so, on the other side i skipped that process. you open the door, pry off the cover (i used a flathead screwdriver), cut wire harness, take off 10mm nuts but leave the screw alone, swap mirrors on the base held on by 3 phillips screws, then reinstall. make sure to cut the harness to where you can solder the wires back together if needed. the cover has a lip, so you want to lift up and out once the clip is popped off the bottom... and when you reinstall it you want to hook it back on the rail before pushing the clip in.

(white ge8, spoon side mirrors, spoon rear view, and black 15 rims with sticky tires). I just color matched and installed mine a few weeks ago. No need to cut the harness at all. The OEM mirror wires can be easily de-pinned from the connector.
We have very similar tastes in mods

Just wanted to clarify. I've taken mine off, but yeah. JHPUSA has them cheaper, same exact product too.
