What did you do to your GE fit today?
I also brought the spare tire up to pressure while I had the compressor and tire valve chuck connected up. If you haven't checked/topped it off recently, it would be a good idea to do likewise. I did wonder why the spare tire hold-down and well are designed such that you must take the spare out to check the pressure; it seems they could have fairly readily designed it such that it sits the other way around with the valve stem on the upper side.
I washed, clay barred, polished and waxed the front half of the car yesterday, today I washed the rest of it, which still has a coat of wax on it. I was just trying out the clay bar on it, even though its new. After just a few ours, my Vortex Blue Pearl is back to looking like total crap again with water spots. Can you tell I'm a bit disheartened? lol
Same here clay my Fit after doing my wife's car last week and waxed now have waxed it a total of eight times since the beginning of June.
Next new tires, camber bolts and spacers once I can decide on size and brand.
Installed Air Deflector (Canadian style, Form Fit)
I finally found a source for the "Canadian" style air/bug deflector. The shipping is only around $50 rather than the $100 the dealers seem to charge!
This is the Form Fit that you USED to be able to get in the U.S.

Today I put a little more air in the tires I bought yesterday for my Fit. They're Delta Esteem Plus 185/60R15 tires; that's a hair wider than the factory size for the base Fit. I went wider mainly because the selection of tires in the stock size is comparatively minuscule. Initial impressions are pretty decent; they're quieter than the (worn) OEM Dunlops, and seem to have decent traction and comfort. The real test for me will come when winter hits. (Being quieter than the worn OEM tires isn't much of a trick; I almost think tank tracks might be quieter!)

Tried out my D1 Spec throttle controller today. This thing ROCKS. Makes the car so much funner to drive. Shifting is so much quicker in sport mode. Everybody who likes to go-kart their fit should definitely buy one. Only cost my $167.67 US with shipping. Palemelanesian, I agree, I don't know why they tilt them forward. If I have my hair up, it really screws with my neck when I drive.
I showed my 5 year old daughter how to wax the car like mommy does, ha ha. She actually stuck around while we did one of the side mirrors.

It's not just Honda. I've driven recent Fords that had the same problem. It's the new crash tests based on incorrect assumptions about how people sit in cars. Lean the seat way back, lift your head clear of the headrest. That's how they test, so of course a forward-leaning head restraint will test better.
