Yeah, I've seen your second build. This is one of the interiors I can see that working with. Looks like it's going really well!

Bought a 2013 PMM Fit Sport, ordered some accessory items through College Hills Honda, removed all the dealership advertisement (license frames/dealer insignia) and even the front license plate mount. So far it looks much better!

Installed my Zeta console yesterday and today was the first day I drove for a long distance with it, loving it so far

The OEM armrest was at a weird height and made me uncomfortable

Im in OK for a school so I don't have anywhere to hand wash my car (which is what I always do) so I go through a car wash on post....big mistake. it tripped my plate off the mount and turned it into a burrito. I had to order the stock one from Honda.

after

Haha. Sorry not tryin to be mean. Hope the car is ok. I just wish I could hear what other people were saying when they saw your car stuck, "What the hell? Why is his car so low to the ground? Is it broken?"

So after much debate I finally started my new interior modification today. Might take me about a week or 2 to complete but the end results will be worth it. I haven't really wanted to do anything else to the car since I'm anxiously waiting for my sprintex to arrive.

It never ends

Got new tires today. 205/50/R16 Yokohama YK580. They ride sooo much better than the stretched 185's I had on my Konigs. The go kart like dartiness is gone and there is almost no road noise. They kinda look like a ripoff of the DWS with stiffer sidewalls.

I washed, clay barred, polished and waxed the front half of the car yesterday, today I washed the rest of it, which still has a coat of wax on it. I was just trying out the clay bar on it, even though its new. After just a few ours, my Vortex Blue Pearl is back to looking like total crap again with water spots. Can you tell I'm a bit disheartened? lol

Today I put a little more air in the tires I bought yesterday for my Fit. They're Delta Esteem Plus 185/60R15 tires; that's a hair wider than the factory size for the base Fit. I went wider mainly because the selection of tires in the stock size is comparatively minuscule. Initial impressions are pretty decent; they're quieter than the (worn) OEM Dunlops, and seem to have decent traction and comfort. The real test for me will come when winter hits. (Being quieter than the worn OEM tires isn't much of a trick; I almost think tank tracks might be quieter!)

I also brought the spare tire up to pressure while I had the compressor and tire valve chuck connected up. If you haven't checked/topped it off recently, it would be a good idea to do likewise. I did wonder why the spare tire hold-down and well are designed such that you must take the spare out to check the pressure; it seems they could have fairly readily designed it such that it sits the other way around with the valve stem on the upper side.
