I installed my new Flux Capacitor. I'm gonna start small, though, just going back to earlier this week. Look for the post I'm gonna do yesterday...right after I synchronize my watch.

So since the Dunlops are shit, and I already had 23,000 miles on them, and I needed new shoes before winter, I figured just get a new set now.

Got Continental ExtremeContact DWS. I know I can't judge or review them for a while but man, these things fricken STICK to the road, I've never driven on a better tire. I hope I can still say the same 15,000+ miles from now.
Doing the same thing hoping the DWS last quite a while I am at 25k brought the car June 2012 will be at 30k by winter replacing tires before then.

Yea my Dunlops slipped in the smallest amount of rain, I'd be so scared to drive on them in Winter.

Went to apply my HeadlightArmor foglight covers last night, realized I didn't have a spray bottle and couldn't properly apply the adhesive. Also tore up two screwdrivers trying to remove one rusty screw from the older fog.

Got the interior and engine bay detailed today after the missus spilled a small amount of coffee in the car yesterday (it was due anyway), she's in brand new shape again now. Engine bay looks fantastic.

Cutriss, good looking lights really make a car look better, even just cleaning them does a world of difference. Its like tooth whitening, makes one look younger. I have to admit, the fog lights were the initial reason I even considered getting the Fit Sport, and I'm glad I did. I hate to see areas of a car where there COULD have been something put there, but they didn't.

The thing giving me pause here is that one of my lights is brand new and super-smooth but the other one is 4 years old and the surface is definitely rougher. I mean, it's still clear but the pockmarked surface makes it look a bit cloudy on visual appearance. I was unsure if the film would adhere to it well.

When I got my CR-V, I got some kind of appearance warranty and they put a coating on the windshield - I'm now wanting to do that to my Fit, because it is actually noticible to me that its not nearly as clean, but I'll have to look into what that was called. Maybe there's something you can buy in an autozone type place that would protect the glass while filling in the pockmarks.

Had a few minutes last night, so I popped off my shifter knob and put on the carbon fiber shifter panel.

Well, looks like it's me again.

I got home early from work to meet the vet, and then afterward, did this:

The CF garnish had the usual double-sided tape but wasn't sticking anywhere near to my satisfaction, so I grabbed some superglue to "help" it out.

There's a small gap between the garnish and the raised surface where the emblem goes, I'm not sure if I want to try to seal it with something or just leave it, as any water that builds up inside won't be able to go anywhere but right back out. I am a little more concerned about the grommet for the wiper post, I'm not sure if I don't have the wiper all the way on or if it was like that and I just don't remember it.

Looks nice. If you wanna be extra safe and make sure it doesn't come off you could use a two-part plastic epoxy that you can get plunger style tubes of at the hardware store for cheap. I used that when installing my jdm emblems. Be VERY hard to get off again though if you tired of it or wanted to sell it.

I'm not really too worried about that. It's not going to have wind tugging at it since it's in the lee of the car during motion, and even if it were to pop off, it can't fall off the wiper. If it does get problematic, I'll probably use some epoxy, yeah.

With different people having their rear wipers set at different angles, I'm wondering cutriss if your wiper actually goes all the way down when you use it(to it's original position). Others have their wiper pointing straight up and I'm curious also if theirs goes past the bottom of the window. Mines set at where it would originally be in it's fully upright position, so that when I use it now it doesn't go past the bottom of my window. Guess there's a mechanism in place to tell it where to stop turning?

I've wondered the same thing. Mine is just like yours, so it still sweeps the exact same swath it did originally, it just starts in the upright position vs the horizontal one. When I did mine it seemed like there was only one way to do it with the mechanism inside, so I'm not sure how others are getting theirs at diff angles.
