Just wanted to clarify. I've taken mine off, but yeah. JHPUSA has them cheaper, same exact product too.
i am not seeing what you mean, i suppose if i do it again in the future, i will have to look closer... but ADVANCPAP's idea works without any cutting.

You're right >> BLR Sport Mirrors - 09+ Fit / 06-11 Civic Si - JDM Honda Parts USA - JHPUSA

Debating on pulling the trigger on these. Was going to get these - Carbon Fiber-Look Door Mirror Covers: College Hills Honda ...but for about the same price I could get the aero mirrors, which are cooler and not fake carbon fiber...choices choices

I was set out to wash my Fit, but I instead helped a friend like his Mazda3 again - he bought it a few days before his dad passed, and for the past two and a half years, he hated the car, and never washed it!!! I like the looks of the Mazda3s, although I'd never own one, it was fun to wash one with that dramatic of a before and after - it looked amazing by the end, and now he loves the car. So I'll just drive mine in the rain today and let the dirt slide off my awesome wax job, ha ha.

Only thing that turns me off is you no longer have the electric movement function. But I guess once you get em set once they should be fine.

Honda has been FANTASTIC in dealing with the issue. No hastles getting the help I needed from them. Kinda surprised and very happy. Makes me happy to be a Honda owner.

So.

The car has had every panel removed. Tomorrow we finish cleaning the little bit of rust proofing oil from the car. We then finalize removing all the small trims/door handles/parts off the doors/car, we sand and refinish the car....

Then it's getting sprayed Lexus Pearl White (with the blue pearl).
Looks like a ton of work! Good luck man! ..I would have a heart attack Honda or not if I had to disassemble my car like that LOL.

Another question tho..what suspension you running? ..because I know that you drive the Fit in the winter too..

Good to hear they don't rattle. I was interested in doing those mirrors and the Spoon rear view myself (just so they match lol). Probably won't do this for a good while but i'll add it to the list, thanks.

I was also a little turned off on losing the power mirrors but I suppose i'll just remove the switch and make some sort of block-off. I'm really the only person that drives my car anyway, so it's kind of a non-issue.

Same here, no one else drives my car. And I hadn't thought about doing the switch delete, but that's a cool idea. I could relocate my throttle controller to that spot.

first of all, that is the tool pouch.

second, why would i cry when i get a flat? i have AAA with 24 hour roadside service and 100 mile towing range and...

i have another car to drive so that i don't have to drive on an unsafe spare tire... that car does not have a spare tire from the factory, but somehow people survive.

Me personally, Id only go smaller mirrors if it ment getting rid of that horrendous whaling above 100mph. Pretty sure the stock mirrors are at fault
